The Sounds of the Banjo

image of banjeaurine

The Banjeaurine is tuned one fourth higher than a regular banjo.
It would be like capoing at the 5th fret.
If the song is in the key of C, the Banjeurine would be playing in the key of F.
It was invented in 1885 by S. S. Stewart and was designed to play the lead
in the Orchestra. Hal's Banjeurine was made in 1886
and has a 13-inch body with calfskin head and nylon strings.
